I've found this tool quite useful so far, thanks for it @mattpocock! One thing I've found myself wanting has been a way to just either (a) write the recommended changes directly to my tsconfig or (b) copy them to my clipboard. Would be happy to take a stab at adding tools to that effect.
Problem suggests adding compiler options that already exist in extended base configurations, indicating the tool analyzes configs in isolation rather than resolving inheritance. Reproduction base.json: nextjs.json: Running suggests adding , , , , and - all already inherited from base.json. Expected Behavior Tool should resolve inheritance chain before analysis, like , and only suggest options not covered by the resolved configuration. Technical Note This affects monorepos with shared base configs where inheritance is the preferred pattern over duplication.
