A good chunk of LLM's knowledge around building good quality JavaScript related packages is based on your hard work for more than a decade. The LLM's are also likely reproducing your code without any acknowledgement or following your licensing. There are also several pain points in the open source communities. Spammy contributions and new libraries, any potential feature or fix is just an AI prompt away and a shift in developers avoiding dependencies and generating their own bespoke modules with AI that better integrate with their codebase. My question is not clearly focused, I guess I am more curious on your evolving thoughts of this situation?

Hello Sindre! In the latest npm (version 5), it creates package-lock.json by default. Yes same like yarn for now. What do you think of it? Should we commit the lockfile to git or is it better to get it ignored? And also what do you think about the latest npm itself? Does it miss something? Thanks, great day!
