Okay this time for real, I want to finish this, _since now that I have no job, I have the time_. Elixir will not typically outperform Go or Rust for most things (raw performance is not its claim-to-fame), but I want to at least beat the turd outta TypeScript. I have a few questions to be able to finish, though. 1. Is this supposed to run continuously and have project state in memory? 2. Is that what the web server is for? A web API for this state? 3. The CLI part -- is this a separate thing that only loads the state from a file, does some things and then terminates? (not a continuously running application?) 4. I'm probably missing something else.
