thanks for creating this amazing tool. i am not familiar with go. after installing package from raspberry pi os official repo, i was following build instructions. 1. does not return anything :( 2. command not found. I tried but still the same issue.
Prior to this change, the example of setup-network-environment service has described v1.0.0 as a version to download. It would be nice to update it to the latest one.
I have been using this cloud-config to bootstrap a CoreOS Kubernetes environment. I grabbed this example from here... However in the /etc/network-environment a wrong environment variable is written. It shows following in the logs. The problem with this variable is the () in the name. Is this something that can be ignored, or is this a bug in this tool?
Recent fixes
Code has been moved and not updated in the past year. We should be using https://github.com/vishvananda/netlink instead.
(most) tutorials being tested against CoreOS with using setup-network-environment doesn't seem to work. No longer pulling the correct IPv4 information and leaving it blank during setup. cc @kelseyhightower
