I switched from Sip to System Color Picker a few months ago, and I'm very thankful for the great app you built – Thanks! One thing I'm always missing from Sip, though, is the possibility to see the current color inside the color sampler. It looks like this: !image I find this very helpful when I have to pick the color of text, where I'm searching for the darkest color with the color picker, so I don't accidentally select a weaker color of font smoothing. Is there any chance System Color Picker may support this too? Thanks for your consideration.
I often need to select a color from dithered images. It would be helpful if I could select an average color from a larger screen area, i.e. a 5 x 5 pixel area or 10 x 10 pixel area.
Recent fixes
I noticed the colors listed in Palettes appear in random order. Even worse, the order is different each time I open the menu. This is quite annoying, especially when I'm trying to pick a color with specified name or one of a few with similar names. It would be great to be able to sort colors by name (optionally also by other properties, if it makes any sense). If not, at least preserve the order so it won't change every time. Thank you!
Can you add the option to use CMYK color format? Great app!
I'd like to build a Raycast shortcut to open the color picker, do you plan to add Apple Script support or maybe just a URL scheme that once called opens the picker? Thanks!
