CSS has recently been gaining a lot of things from SASS. So much so, that the Vite docs recommends just writing CSS with postcss transformations for the newest features. For example, nesting styles in pure CSS is currently native in most browsers. CSS functions seem to be coming soon so maybe in the near future this could be just , and sass would be able to import/use/compile them as if they were still sass functions.
