I was reading this repo's source code, and it took me quite some time to try to understand because this method seems never be used. After pondering over it for a while, I found this issue and another issue on ora repo. According to these two issues, is indeed unused code, and no fix is made so far. I think submitting an issue here would be beneficial for people facing similar confusion :)
