Repetitive things should probably reduce in volume or skip entirely. Possibly octave alternation works here as well.

Doesn't appear to work on Mountain Lion (10.8.2)ClosedIssue

Assistive device access is enabled, but I'm not hearing anything after launching windchime and typing up some code in either TextEdit or Sublime Text 2.
